The University Neighbourhood for the survey extends south from the riverbank to Union Street/Rooney Street, along the 100- to 700-blocks of six north-south avenues. The neighbourhood has a western boundary on Randolph Avenue, and an eastern one on Campbell Avenue.
Therefore, in addition to the houses on Randolph and Campbell, the neighbourhood is basically comprised of the houses potentially numbered from 100 to 799 on two other north-south avenues, Rankin Avenue and Bridge Avenue; and houses numbered 200 to 799 on Josephine Avenue; and 300 to 799 on Partington Avenue.
Note that one major east-west avenue, University Avenue West, is located between the south-ends of the 200-blocks and the north-starts of the 300-blocks. A major east-west street, Wyandotte Street West, is similarly located between the 500- and 600-blocks.
The neighbourhood therefore actually includes the houses on the 1800- to 2100-blocks of each of these east-west avenue/streets, plus those on one side of Riverside Drive West; but their few single-detached houses and duplexes were not surveyed.

The houses on these streets and road are potentially numbered from 3200 to 3699 in the 3200, 3300, 3400, 3500 and 3600 city-blocks.
The lack of single-detached and duplex housing in the 3300 city-block of Bloomfield Road is compensated for by surveying houses in the 700 city-block of St. Antoine Street and Brock Road, on Bloomfield Roads south-east side in this 3300 city-block.
The surveyed neighbourhood also has four shorter east-west streets named Laforet; Mill; Tournier; and Brock; and their houses are potentially numbered from 300 to 699. The first three east-west streets are located within the 3200-blocks of the north-south streets; and the last one in a 3300-block.
